Can running really help?

Well, it helped me. I’ve often read blogs and heard celebrities talk about how fitness has changed lives. Back then I was not really sure if they should be believed like most of the time its called a publicity stunt right? I started running in 2014, I consider this the most beautiful phase of my life. This phase, taught me how to live, love and off course to run!

They used to call me the bulky runner. Yes, you heard that right. I weighed 70 kg when I started running. It was difficult yet so peaceful and satisfying. I did not lose any weight, I did not starve myself and I did not keep myself away from my favorite treats. All I did was, just run. The good part of it happened later, like losing weight, getting into shape, better-looking skin and some major mental relaxation.

Running has always been a form of meditation for me. Try it, to feel it. All you need to do is just start running and you’ll feel the difference. Do not think about the calories you are going to burn or the miles you are going to cover but just run! As runners often say, running is cheaper than any therapy. So try it, I’m sure you’ll love it. Also remember, when everything is going wrong, all you need to do is RUN.
